Community Services
There are out-patient clinics in Baggot Street Hospital and Irishtown Health Centre.Miltown It provides a therapeutic environment for clients. Provisions are made for clients who require anxiety management, assertiveness training, family therapy and bio-feeback.
Community Alcohol Service
This is based at Baggot Street Hospital. It provides treatment involving assessment, after care programmes, family services and individual counselling.Psychiatry of old age
This service facilitates an assessment and respite service at St Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park and Cois Ceim,Tivoli Road, Dun Loaghaire. Continuous care services are provided at Cois Ceim, Le Brun and Whitethorn House, Clonskeagh Hospital. The Day Hospital is situated in the grounds of St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park.Staff Development
Staff are encouraged through staff development programmes to avail of post graduate training in Dublin City University, Royal College of Surgeons and other educational institutions of continuous education. Staff educational training programmes are held throughout the year to up-date skills, refresh and to keep staff informed of the latest developments in nursing. Opportunities for promotion will arise for those interested in advancing their nursing careers.Rosters
Staff are rostered to work on alternate days from 8a.m. to 8:40p.m in the hospital area Night duty in there services is from 8:30p.m. to 8a.m. for one week with the following week off.
